Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself.  Life can be stressful and may feel overwhelming at times.  I am devoted to helping you get more of what you want in life.  I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families, while providing compassion and support. 

I am an independent, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Fort Worth, Texas. My undergraduate degree was completed at Baylor University, and my graduate studies were completed at the University of North Texas in 2001. I actively participate in in continuing education to update and practice my skills. I am trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, and I am a Prepare Enrich Pre-Marital facilitator. I am also certified as a mental health specialist using horses in counseling, as well as a vocational counselor.

Before switching to private practice in 2009, I worked at the YWCA in Fort Worth, where I received the 2008 Humanitarian Award honor for direct counseling services to the YWCA clients. I am a member of the Texas Counseling Association and the Texas Mental Health Counselors Association.

I provide educational seminars to communities, professionals and businesses on issues of interest regarding relationship enhancement, parenting, stress management, communication, team building, leadership and ethics.
